Goldilocks and the Three Bears

One of my most popular items is the Traveler's Notebook (TN). I don't know who started this craze but the first one I saw was a Midori TN (MTN) on a trip to Japan. I am a huge fan of Japanese stationary and try to visit one or two of my favorite stationary stores everytime I go to Japan (usually 4-5 times a year).

When I first saw the MTN I really liked the concept and bought a passport size MTN. I quickly outgrew the features of the MTN so I designed my own adding a few features and modifying the things I didn't like.

I have sold well over 2,000 of the full size TNs. Recently I have been receiving requests for other sized: 3.5" x 5.5" (Field Notes, Word, Mokeskine Cahier), Personal size, A5 and others. The other thing a lot of people are requesting is LARGER CAPACITY!

Based on these requests I started working on designs. Here is what I have come up with. The pictures below show 3 sizes: Field Notes, Personal and Full Size. Each has 4 elastic cords to hold inserts and the elastic closure also acts as a pen retainer. These are made from Horween Chromexcel, a fantastic leather for something you are going to be handeling on a daily basis.

I hope you like the designs. I am always open to feedback and comments!!
